2010 California Green Code effective January 1, 2011

This document is the 11th of 12 parts of the official compilation and publication of the adoptions, amendments and
repeal of regulations to California Code of Regulations, Title 24, also referred to as the California Building Standards
Code. This Part is known as the California Green Building Standards Code, and it is intended that it shall also be
known as the CALGreen Code.

California Lead Free Plumbing Law effective January 1, 2010
|

The California State Health and Safety Code Section 116875, effective January 1, 2010,
states in part and requires that, no person shall use any pipe, pipe or plumbing fitting or
fixture, or solder or flux that is not lead free in the installation or repair of any public
water system or any plumbing in a facility providing for human consumption except when
necessary for the repair of leaded joint of cast iron pipe
